Damian Connelly
Director/Principal Consulting Engineer 

Damian Connelly has over 30 years metallurgical experience and has spent the last 21 years working as a metallurgical consultant in Australia and overseas. He has been involved in many gold projects including engineering, audit, due diligence, tenders and expert witness work.

Damian is a Chartered Professional Engineer (MET) and a member of the Mineral Industry Consultants Association, Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, American Institute of Mining, Metal and Petroleum Engineers, Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Australian Institute of Management, and is registered as an expert witness. He has worked for most of the blue chip mining companies throughout his career.

John Visser
Metallurgical Manager

John has over 27 years’ experience in the mining industry as a metallurgist, principally in ferrous Metals as well as experience in gold, mineral sands, coal, limestone and diamonds within Australia and South Africa. His experience includes study management, as well as brownfield and greenfield design and construction experience which encompasses crushing and screening plants, furnaces, spirals, jigs, DMS plants and materials handling systems.

Francine Allen
Commercial Manager

Francine has over 12 years’ experience in accounting and administration with a particular focus on financial management. Her experience spans the engineering, accounting professional practice and aged care sectors. Francine has been with METS since 2002 and been part of a driving team establishing the framework for the transition from a small to a medium sized enterprise. As Commercial Manager, Francine is responsible for all contractual  engagements and financial transactions between METS and its stakeholders.
