A key service provided by METS is the management of a project through the various stages from the initial concept to an operating plant. METS experienced metallurgists and engineers have been involved with the development of many resources based projects, and will act on behalf of the client to ensure that the project proceeds in the optimum manner. A specific Project Manager will be appointed to a given project. They will then, in liaison with the client, determine the scope of work, guide the project through the initial feasibility and metallurgical testwork, and report on the preliminary viability of the project. If the project is promising, he will then bring in other disciplines as required (eg. geologists, hydrologists) and put together the more detailed feasibility study. When final approval for the project is obtained, the project management team will manage the preparation of contracts, supervise the engineering design and documentation, and provide a continued overview through the construction and commissioning stages.
