Introduction

Beneficiation Iron Ore Plant Iron Ore is an essential part of every day life, being the raw material needed to make countless iron and steel products used in every facet of life. The mining of high grade Direct Shipping Ore is becoming less common and with continuing strong demand from China and India the processing of low grade iron ore is becoming progressively more common and more complex.

The Beneficiation of Low Grade Iron Ore Course is designed to cover the geology and mineralogy of iron ore deposits, testwork for low grade ores, case studies on operating beneficiation plants and all major beneficiation processes including crushing, screening, gravity concentration, dense media separation, magnetic separation and flotation.

Course Benefits

The benefits of attending this course are numerous. Participants will learn about the potential of low grade iron ores and the role of beneficiation in the mineral processing industry. Useful knowledge will be acquired as each stage of the process will be looked at in depth and the fundamental principles behind the methods will be discussed. In addition, case studies will be examined to show how the theories are applied in industry. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss issues they have encountered with their plant processes.
