Introduction
Perfecting and standardising feasibility studies to ensure ongoing excellence. Not all studies are created equal.Whilst JORC has become the accepted standard for resource estimation, an equivalent for the content of feasibility studies has not been universally adopted. This not only creates an environment of inconsistencies and confusion but can also provide greater opportunity for abuse, misleading information, misguided investment and long days in court.
The course will not only benefit those engaged in study development but also those who may find themselves having to one day review and possibly even ‘sign-off’ on study content. This course has been well received by participants.
Course Benefits
Feasibility studies are intended to evaluate the commercial, social, technical and environmental aspects involved in developing resource projects. As such, appropriate feasibility studies represent the cornerstone for successful resource ventures, and form the foundations for substantial subsequent capital investment.
Detailed information is provided on scoping, pre-feasibility and full feasibility studies, and the considerations to ensure they are valid, comprehensive and accurate.
Participants are provided with comprehensive course notes on CD covering the basic theoretical and practical aspects of feasibility studies. This will serve as a valuable re
