Introduction The vanadium processing workshop is a one day course designed to cover the demands and uses of vanadium, the geology and mineralogy of vanadium deposits, metallurgical testwork for vanadium ores, beneficiation of vanadium ores, ferrovanadium and vanadium chemical production and knowledge of current major vanadium processing operations. The geology, environmetal aspects and the best practices in mining and processing manganese ore will be discussed at length.
